If you wish to stay in my house
in Padstow just contact me by telephone or email.
I
require a deposit of £100 per week for your booking.
Cheques should be made payable to
Iris Smith or I will give you my bank details for transfer.
The balance of the rent for your stay must be
received 28 days prior to the date of your arrival.
General conditions of booking are:
1.
Authority to Sign Bookings can only be accepted from
Tenants over 18 years of age and will be made strictly in order of deposits
received and the contract shall be between The Tenant and the Owner. The Tenant
who signs the booking form certifies acceptance of the conditions on behalf of
all persons included on the form. Sub letting or transferred letting will not be
permitted except by special agreement and only the number of persons stated when
booking will be accommodated in the property. Only the maximum number of persons
shown on the property details may occupy a property, this includes children and
babies. Violation of this rule constitutes a breach of contract and the Owner,
or an agent of the Owner, have the right to terminate the contract forthwith and
all monies paid by the Tenant will be forfeit.
2. Bookings and Cancellations
A non-refundable deposit of £100 per
week must be sent with the reservation request and the balance must be received
not later than 4 weeks before arrival. Reminders are not sent and non-payments
will be considered as a cancellation. In the case of cancellation after bookings
have been confirmed the deposit is non-refundable, the balance paid will be
refunded if the property is re-let for that week. All cancellations must be in
writing.
3. Cancellation / Insurance
Your booking is a legally binding
contract, and like all contracts you should protect yourself in case things go
wrong. It is worth checking whether
you are already covered free through your bank account
4.
Termination
If you fail to observe any of the
conditions, the Owner or their Agent will have the right to require you to vacate
the property at once, without any compensations becoming payable to you.
5. External Factors
The Owners cannot be held to account
for any holiday fairs, fetes, events or festivals occurring during the letting
season nor building works in the vicinity of neighbouring properties.
6. Amenities
The use of amenities provided by the
owner, such as the barbeque, etc, is entirely at the Tenants and his/her
parties’ risk and no responsibility can be accepted by The Owner for any injuries to persons or loss or damage,
resulting from the use of the amenities.
7. Holiday Use Only
This property is hired on
the understanding that the accommodation is for holiday use only and that no
right to remain in the accommodation exists for the guest or anyone in the
Tenants party
8. Pets are accepted, with prior approval, and subject to their owner accepting liability for any
damage they may do to the property.
Please ensure garden is cleared of Pet waste and all evidence ofpet hair
gone from the house, as we
do not charge (or do) for extra cleaning.
